187 days and counting!

So... I have 187 days until I am officially Mrs. Lechner.
Whoa - I just got butterflies. :)
It's getting real.
Last night, we got our Save the Dates (which I have stopped abbreviating as "STD's" for obvious reasons) as well as our photo guest book.
It's funny how just these little things can get me all worked up, but I can't help it!
I am so ready to be married to this man!!!
All 3 of us are counting down.
We have the reception spot picked and booked, and the wedding website is coming along nicely.
I've had a blast going nuts on the registries.
I've gone to my Mom's house several times to visit my dress - it's beautiful!
Clean and simple... EXACTLY what I had in mind for my beach wedding.
I can't wait to be in Aruba, standing in the sand, starting the rest of my life with Chase.
Ahhhhhh!!!!!

Doo-De-doo!

SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!!
Too much shiny for my ADD brain to grasp!!!
One, I am taking engagement pictures tomorrow!!!
I must admit, I'm considerably more excited about my brand new outfits than posing for 2 hours, but what's the difference??
:)
I will give away that I have purchased a brand new pair of RED jeans/leggings (jeggings?) for the casual half of the shoot.
This gives cause for joy.
Fun!
I get to pair it with a new beige top, as well as debut my new sapphire blue, laser cut dress.
Is it any wonder why I'm itching to get off of work and go home???
(That is another post altogether. Black Friday has a whole new meaning when working in the ER. Don't these peeps have anything better to do than flood the ED w/ their non-emergent sore throats??! I digress).
Also, I recently purchased wedding invites for those going to the actual ceremony in Aruba.
(More on the wedding madness in the next full update, but just know that it is scattered and messy, and requiring like, 4 different sets of invites. What the what?)
Anywho, these particular invites, I have decided to hand address since there are so few of them (less than 30), and have found some pretty snazzy "calligraphy" to emulate on them.
Very excited for this project as well. I love drawing words.
If I can get it to work and develop a rather efficient method, I may consider it for the actual reception invites.
Of which there are 100. I said "IF".
All of these wedding art projects at my finger tips, I'm finding it difficult not to go broke!!
I caved the other day while bored online window and bought the shells I plan to use for the reception centerpieces.
Can't wait until those get here to... shove them in the closet for 7 months.
Oye vey.
LOL- I should probably put the brakes on the buying process until it gets a bit closer.
But I can't help it!!

In other news, all this exacerbated by the fact that my LOVES are not home as they decided to ditch me working to go on a boys camping trip.
So I take no responsibility for my inability to exercises self control in a bout of boredom.
Boys!

Oh Sunny Day :)

Oh it has been far too long!!!
Really??? It has been more than a year since I have last checked in?
Fail.
Well then, let's catch up.
My little man is not so little anymore. He's lost his first tooth, and holds conversations like a 25 year old! It's absolutely amazing to see his progression into little boyhood :) Makes me such a proud Mom!
Things with Chase are of course, absolutely amazing.
I should mention, this is a good day. :)
JUST KIDDING!
Seriously though, I have never thought myself to be moody until I found myself around him so much!
It's crazy how constant exposure to one single person can make you...well, crazy.
:)
But luckily, Chase is pretty fantastic and puts up with my eccentrics.
I have been working on communicating, and sharing, and compromising.
Honestly, all of those suck. But are necessary. I know.
I find it hard to open up sometimes.
Okay, all the time.
I still can't quite pinpoint the root cause of that.
And if there was ever anyone I can be open with, it's Chase.
I feel like I have been improving in that aspect. Maybe not fast enough for Chase, but I have.
He makes me want to be better. It's like this crazy little cause and effect. That I love.
And just because I love saying it... We're getting married :)
I love that too.
Nothing wrong with a little mindless babble about all the good I'm up against!
